Midnight Engineering

Midnight Engineering was a magazine published by William E. "Bill" Gates (not to be confused with William Henry Gates III, the founder of Microsoft). The target audience was primarily hardware and software engineers who were either running their own small businesses or currently had "day jobs" and were "burning the midnight oil" developing products or services to allow them to become independent entrepreneurs.

There was a conference associated with the magazine, initially called ME SKI in 1992 and then renamed to ENTCON (Entrepreneurs Conference), held early each Spring in Denver, Colorado.

Although the magazine is no longer published, a loyal group of the magazine's readers has continued to meet each year in Colorado at the end of March at a conference called Entrepreneurial Connections, or EntConnect for short. The next conference is scheduled for March 22-25, 2012. Conference details can be found via the EntConnect link below.
